This is the bottom half of the garden. We just seeded it with buckwheat and cowpeas. This will be tilled under before it goes to seed to put green manure in the ground. We will do this two more times this summer. Hopefully this plus a truck load of manure will help get our soil fertile. After the garden is done growing our vegetables we will put in a crop of fava beans and also till them under to put green manure into the soil.
