Here's Maddie keeping an eye on her goats. They like to sleep under this tree in the pasture that is closest to the house.  Posted by Hello

Here's one of my favorite plants. Bells of Ireland. They aren't very big yet. The ones I started in the house didn't make it. Posted by Hello

Here's one of my Zinnia's. Posted by Hello

Here are my flowers. I have buckwheat at the end for a wind break. You can see the sunflowers on the right. I picked all the flowers for my bouquet so there isn't many to see. Just green. Posted by Hello

Here is a picture of the squash, melons, and corn. Posted by Hello

And a little pumpkin. These will be for pumpkin pie and pumpkin cookies. Posted by Hello

Here's another little guy. Posted by Hello

For all of those waiting for butternut squash. Well, hopefully you won't have wait too much longer. Posted by Hello

This is the bottom half of the garden. We just seeded it with buckwheat and cowpeas. This will be tilled under before it goes to seed to put green manure in the ground. We will do this two more times this summer. Hopefully this plus a truck load of manure will help get our soil fertile. After the garden is done growing our vegetables we will put in a crop of fava beans and also till them under to put green manure into the soil. Posted by Hello

Here is a view of the whole garden. It's much greener now, but we still have a few holes where we can put more plants. Posted by Hello

My first bouquet! How exciting! One bouquet wasn't enough to sell at Farmer's though. I will be going to farmer's next Saturday. My bouquet has several kinds of Zinnia's, two types of cosmos, blue and rose colored larkspurs, statice and one flower I can't spell that I didn't expect to grow, I thought is was a type of Salvia, but is very pretty and I'm glad I grew it. Posted by Hello

Shelby crossing her legs for us. Posted by Hello

A different night sleeping with Sarah. Good thing Sarah is not awake. Posted by Hello

Spooning Sarah. Sarah doesn't like the cats, but I guess when she's sleeping she doesn't mind. Posted by Hello

Awww! Olivia just loves to sleep with the other cats and dogs. She is so sweet when she's sleeping, but I can't say too much about when she's awake and is feeling frisky, she can be pretty mean sometimes. Posted by Hello
