Oh, and the potato's at the end of the garlic rows. Were also going to do some potato's in hay. We'll see which produces more. Posted by Hello

I'm curious as to which method will make better, too! I've wanted to experiment with these methods alos, but potatoes don't seem to do well here, unless they are the small red "new potatoes". You have a totally different climate out there, though, and it'll be exciting to see how this works out!

Actually I grew potatoes in SLO last year and they did great! You'll have to try again Suz! I used an above the ground method with fenced in dirt. Put the fencing in a circle and put the dirt in the middle and then put your potatoes in the sides and on top. I have a friend in Pismo that does potatoes every year and they come out fine too. :)

Hmmm, maybe I will! I'll admit, I've been lazy about potatoes because they are so cheap to buy (even organic at the farmer's market). I try harder when it's something I really want to eat and I can't find it elsewhere! LOL
But now you've got me thinking taters....
