Another view of the holes under the fence. Big enough for dogs, big enough for coyotes. 

This is my project as of late besides those darn fence posts which I've been fighting with. Thier are many holes under the fence where the dirt was not leveled before putting the goat pen fence in so I'm using the many rocks on the property to fill these holes in. Those big rocks are heavy good thing I have the tractor to do most of my rock moving. 

This is a picture of our pups in the goat pen. The dog pen will hopefully be finished this weekend. Yeah! I will be able to install the dog door. Aren't they cute! 

The Critters Love it Here!

So far the dogs love it here! They get to spread out in 2600 sq. feet in the house and then an acre and a quarter outside in the goat pen (well for now until their dog pen is finished, but still lots of room). We'll see how it goes when it rains. That red dirt will be everywhere. The cats are still getting used to the fact that they need to stay inside atleast until Friday or Saturday of this week, they hate using litter boxes. They like going potty outside and leaving it outside. Baby kitty Olivia likes it the best because she really doesn't care at this point whether she is in or out. She's been hanging out with the dogs on the floor. Now that we know Oliver is Olivia we are treating her more like a girl. We really thought she was a rough and tumble boy. Now I understand why she doesn't like to play with the puppy so rough anymore. I will post more pictures now that I have an easier way to transfer them from my camera.

This is a really neat picture of some honeybees in transition. I was at the local 4-H fair and someone spotted them and I luckily had the camera with me. Really neat shape they formed.

Here is our baby kitty Oliver. Funny thing though we took him in to get neutered and it turned out Oliver needed to be spayed not neutered. So now Oliver is Olivia. Haha! 

Ok, so it has been a long time since I last posted

I've been busy driving back and forth from the old to the new house. Six and a half hours each way with a trailer. Yuck! Plus being under the weather for several days didn't help.
Next weekend I will for sure be up there and settled because the cats go crazy when I am gone too long. So, next weekend will be the for sure move for me and the animals and then hopefully Roger will be along within the week to week and a half after that. As long as the animals are in one place and settled and I'm only gone a couple days at a time instead of 3-6 days then I think they will be ok. Hopefully. Then I can come to the old place and finish cleaning it up and getting the last of our stuff and still have Roger watching all the animals in one place instead of moving them back and forth.
Then I will be able to post more pictures and more adventures. Yeah!

Getting the frame of the aviary for my birds built and painted

So far I've managed to get the frame of the aviary for my cockatiel and my parakeet ready to be taken up to the new place for assembly, still painting the second coat on everything. A nice pale yellow, which I can detail when it's assembled and we are settled in our new home and I have extra time. I will also get the roof cut to size and ready to be put together too. I'm so excited my birds are going to love me. They've been talking to each other through thier cages, it's so cute. Rufus is trying to teach the parakeet to cluck like a chicken, wolf whistle, say "pretty bird", and sound like a dodge pickup and a motorcycle starting up kinda meshed together sound. I will take pictures and post them soon. Yeah! I'm so excited!

Here is a cute one of our puppy Shelby. She is probably twice that size now.
